Trading House 'Format' Among Top Exporters in Northwestern Federal District

The district meeting on the implementation of the national project ’International Cooperation and Export’ in the constituent entities of the Northwestern Federal District featured an award presentation for the winners of the district stage of the All-Russian Award ’Exporter of the Year’. Hosted in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Oblast, the event brought together participants from all 11 regions of the Northwestern Federal District.

Representatives of federal ministries, the Russian Export Center (VEB. RF Group), heads of regional executive bodies presented awards and diplomas to leading firms that have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to developing the domestic export. The event served as an official platform to honor the distinguished achievements of organizations that exemplify stable growth and successful expansion into global markets

Trading House ’Format’ LLC was recognized as a double laureate, securing top honors in two premier categories: ’Trader of the Year’ and ’Responsible ESG Exporter’, both within the large business division.

Based on 2025 foreign trade results, the Vologda Oblast ranked third among the constituent entities of the Northwestern Federal District in export volume, reporting a 38% growth. Regional companies exhibit a robust presence in international markets, serving as pivotal drivers of the Northwestern Federal District’s export potential and contributing significantly to the attainment of the goal established by the RF President to achieve a two-thirds increase in non-resource, non-energy exports by 2030, relative to 2023 levels. The ’Exporter of the Year’ award is held under the auspices of the national project ’International Cooperation and Export’ supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
